Congratulations to Sherborne Girls Upper Fifth  

Sherborne Girls in Dorset is celebrating the achievement of its Upper Fifth (Year 11) pupils today who have secured a fantastic set of GCSE grades, testament to the hard work and perseverance of these pupils over many years. 

As with our outgoing Upper Sixth cohort, this year group has been subjected to considerable disruption and confusion following the cancellation of public examinations announced on 18 March and the subsequent changes to the way in which grades were awarded. Headmistress, Dr Ruth Sullivan, commented: “The staff at Sherborne Girls are extremely proud of our Year 11 girls and all that they have achieved. We are delighted that they have secured the grades of which they are so deserving and for which they worked so hard. We look forward to welcoming this year group back in early September when school commences and know that they will build upon this excellent foundation in their chosen A Level subjects.”
