IB results celebrated at SG

Sherborne Girls is celebrating the announcement of this year’s International Baccalaureate results with 19% of students gaining 41 points or higher.

An astonishing set of results were awarded to Sophie West from Cornwall who achieved a 7 in all five of her Higher Level subjects (the usual number to take is three): English, Latin, Economics, History and Philosophy gaining a total 456 UCAS points which is equivalent to 6A*s at A level.

Confirmed university offers for students at this stage include Philosophy at St Andrews, Politics & French at Bristol and International Relations at the London School of Economics.
