The Holt Gallery at Sherborne School is the venue for an inspiring exhibition of art produced by Art Scholars at Sherborne Girls and Sherborne School. The exhibition features work from all year groups including A Level and GCSE students.
Claire Mason, Head of Art at Sherborne Girls, explained: “The work shows the girls’ inventive use of materials and demonstrates the calibre of art scholars at both schools. It is great to have the opportunity to reward the students for their hard work by displaying their work in a gallery open to the public.”
There is a further opportunity to see the schools’ creative talents when a Year 9 exhibition entitled ‘Paraphernalia’ goes on display at the Holt Gallery, between 18 and 25 April, with extended opening hours planned for Tuesday 24 April, at 5-6 pm.
Exhibitions such as this support the recently launched ‘Separate yet together’ initiative and showcase the long-standing collaboration between the two Sherborne schools.
