Upper-sixth students, Lottie H and Isabelle K are celebrating after being awarded prestigious Army Officer Scholarships.
Dr Ruth Sullivan, Headmistress at Sherborne Girls, said: “Across the whole of the UK just 73 Army Officer Scholarships were awarded this year and both Lottie and Isabelle should be congratulated on their success in what is renowned as being an extremely competitive and rigorous selection process. We really are thrilled for them.”
The scholarships will support the girls through their university studies. They are currently submitting their UCAS applications: Lottie is planning to study medicine and hopes to be an army medic and Isabelle plans to read Geography. Both girls will go on to serve in the Army following their university graduation.
