Year 10: M5 Co Curricular

This term the M5 girls have been set a film-making challenge. In group of four or five, the girls have made a three-minute film on the topic of Climate Change to enter the Bank of England’s ‘Bank Camera Action’ competition. We will find out if any of these have been shortlisted in the New Year.

The Oscars night was a chance to show the top ten films and celebrate the top five with an awards ceremony. The winning film was a brilliant and thought-provoking piece of stop-motion animation by Daisy, Polly, Electra and Lotta. The judges said:

“Fantastic. Very short but highly effective and a really powerful message."

"Thoughtful, clever and of a very high quality. Incredible technique and use of stop motion and craftsmanship…excellent."

"Soundtrack but no other audio which actually made it very powerful.”
