Our thanks to St Mary’s Waverley in Johannesb urg for looking after Poppy and Amy so well on their 3 weeks exchange.
Yesterday the girls visited Lilieslief, the capture site of the Rivonia trialists on 11 July 1963, and where Mandela was captured a few weeks later. It was particularly special visiting on the anniversary of the capture, and the girls had the opportunity to see Mandela’s room and take a tour of the old farm house.
Other highlights include a trip to Cape Town and the Elephant sanctuary!
