Katie studied for an Honours Degree in Fine Art at Plymouth University, Exeter, graduating in 2000. Since then she has been working as an Equestrian Artist producing drawings and monochromatic and coloured oil paintings. Underlined by strong drawing, her style is expressive and conveys movement. As well as selling commissioned (both equine and canine) and non-commissioned work directly from her studio in Hinton St Mary, Dorset, she is also represented by Equestrian Art International who exhibit annually at Cheltenham, Newmarket and York Racecourses at their premier meetings.
Katie was Artist in Residence to the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment from 2011-2012. She also produced a Christmas card for the Countryside Alliance in 2016 and is taking part in Dorset Arts Weeks 26th May-10th June 2018.
