New Chaplain joins Sherborne Girls

The new term not only marked the beginning of Dr Ruth Sullivan’s role as Headmistress, but the school also welcomed a new Chaplain: The Revd Katie Windle.

Dr Sullivan, explained: “With the hall echoing to the sound of John Rutter’s The Lord Bless you and Keep You, morning prayers was made even more poignant as the Bishop of Sherborne, The Rt Revd Karen Gorham, conducted the licensing ceremony which officially recognises Katie as School Chaplain.

“We offer Katie the warmest of welcomes and know that she will provide wonderful spiritual support to our girls and staff.”
