The School Shop is located on campus and offers the full range of regulation Sherborne Girls branded uniform and sports kit.
Appointments to visit the School Shop must be made in advance and can be arranged by emailing [email protected] or calling +44 (0)1935 818211. A full uniform fitting will take approximately one hour. The School Shop is open for the remainder of this term, and the opening hours over the summer holidays can be viewed below.
For ease and convenience, parents may also order uniform via our Online Shop. This service allows you to order and pay for uniform which is then delivered directly to your daughter's boarding house.
Additional sports accessories such as hockey and lacrosse sticks, shin pads, lacrosse eye protection, and swimming goggles are also stocked in the campus-based shop.
Purchases made in person can be paid for with cash, credit/debit card or charged to account on production of a valid ID card (supplied by the School Shop).
Name tapes and self-adhesive labels can also be ordered by completing this form: Name Tape Order Form.
We are pleased to provide a labelling service at a cost of £40.00. The charge for this is passed on to parents at cost. Should your daughter choose trousers, we are able to provide a hemming service at £5.00. This is an additional charge to the purchase of the trousers. Labelling and garment alterations can also be offered throughout the year and will be quoted for on an individual basis.
Payment for all sewing services will be invoiced to you for direct settlement to Loveridge & Honeyfield. Should any garment need changing for an alternative size, it will be your responsibility to carefully remove the name label and present the garment in a re-sale condition. The name labelling of the new garment will also be your responsibility.
We stock an array of stationery including; notepads, pens, calculators and stamps. We aim to offer a good selection of items needed for school life so that girls are fully equipped in the classroom.

How should I purchase uniform for my daughter?
We encourage all parents to arrange an appointment with the Shop. Appointments can be made by emailing [email protected] or by phone 01935 818211.
Your appointment will last an hour. We are very happy to accommodate family members during the fittings if you wish for them to be with you.
If I am unable to make a fitting, can I place an order online and collect directly from the School Shop?
Yes - once you have received your email confirmation of your purchases you will be able to collect your items directly from the School Shop.
Alternatively you can request an order form by email, complete your order, and return to [email protected].
Can you deliver items directly to the Boarding House?
Yes – once you have been for your fitting your daughter’s uniform will be delivered directly to their Boarding house ready for the start of term.
Are you able to send my items to my home address?
Yes, if you are a UK resident. The cost of delivery will be calculated at the time of posting and added to your School bill. Please place your order in plenty of time if you would like items delivered, to avoid items arriving after the start of term.
If you would like items posted to you, please email [email protected] after completing your order.
How do I use the online shop?
The shop works in a similar way to any other online store. Simply visit the shop and add the relevant items to your basket. Once you have added all the items you need, you can check out.
How do I know what size to order?
A measurement guide can be found here.
How do I pay for an item?
Once you have finished shopping you can view all the items in your cart by selecting the Cart option. Review the items and quantities carefully and make any adjustments, as necessary. Before you select Check Out, there is a space to enter your child’s name and boarding house. It helps the shop to identify who the item(s) are for if you do this. Payments can be made by PayPal.
What happens once I have placed an order?
Once an order has been placed, a member of our shop team will receive a notification to review and confirm your order. This will happen within 48 hours of an order being placed, but during particularly busy periods, during holidays or following the weekend, this may take slightly longer. Once an order has been reviewed by the shop team, a notification will be sent to the email address used to complete the order that it has been fulfilled. If there are any issues or queries the shop team will initiate contact with whoever placed the order.
What do I do about name taping my items?
Sherborne Girls offers a name taping service for your child’s uniform. There is a set fee of £40 for all items of uniform. Should you wish for bedding, towels, and home clothes to be named this can also be done on an individual basis at an extra cost.
What do I do if uniform items do not fit, or I purchased the wrong item?
Although we have provided sizing information for most of our items, inevitably there will be a need to exchange or return items that do not fit, or that have been purchased incorrectly.
When receiving an item, you will find the pricing label will still be attached – please leave this on the garment until you have confirmed that the item(s) fit correctly.
If an item is the wrong size, it can be exchanged in the shop. Shop staff will help the pupil choose the right size garment.
Should a refund be required, we ask that you bring proof of purchase and monies will be returned to the card that was used to purchase the item
Am I able to buy uniform items elsewhere?
Clothing items with school logos can only be purchased via the school shop; however, other items may be sourced from alternative locations if you prefer (for example, parents will often purchase socks and tights independently).
Although school bags do contain a school logo, it is possible to purchase non branded equivalents elsewhere – providing they meet the definitions outlined by the school (eg plain, etc).
Do you offer nearly new uniform?
The School does offer nearly new uniform and has a stringent policy ensuring that any item that is classed nearly new is in excellent condition for resale.
Do you sell a range of sizes?
Over the years we have seen students of all shapes and sizes, and so in most instances we will be able to cater for all pupils. Please check our size guides as a reference. In some instances, we may need to substitute for the next size up/down if an item is out of stock – especially with made to order uniform where lead times can be several months for re-stocking.
What type of School shoe should I buy?
Girls are required to wear a plain black or brown low-heeled leather or leather-look shoe. The School Shop sells two styles in a range of sizes. Purchase these here.
Can I buy sports equipment and stationery online?
You can purchase a selection of sports equipment online but stationary is only available in store.
What are your opening hours?
The shop is open between 9.00am-5.00pm, Monday-Friday during term time. Please find our holiday opening hours above.

In addition to uniform and PE kit detailed in the School Dress Code, girls will require a few casual clothes; jogging bottoms, jeans, t-shirts and hoodies for after school. They will need a smarter outfit for more formal occasions and something for the end of term parties. They might like to wear something a bit more ‘dressier’ for a weekend social event but jeans and a nice top are fine.
The School Dress Code lists the various occasions that require different types of outfits. Girls should also bring an alarm clock (as mobile phones are collected in at bedtime) and their own bedding. They may like to bring posters, photos and small personal items to decorate their room and a favourite teddy. That said, they are encouraged not to bring everything they own as space is limited!
