Statement on Coronavirus

We are aware that there may be some concern among parents and girls regarding the coronavirus outbreak in China and the reports of cases starting to appear elsewhere. 

Predictions of how this situation will develop are made more difficult by the fact that the outbreak is still in its early stages.  However, we will continue to pay close attention to the advice coming from trusted sources, including Public Health England and the Boarding Schools Association, in order that we can ensure the safety of the girls and the wider community at Sherborne Girls.  If the situation changes in a way which will impact our approach, we will inform parents, pupils and staff as soon as possible through the school website and other media channels.
